About us

Astraea Relics started with a love of old symbols: the sailor's swallow, the sacred heart, the hamsa hand, the memento mori skull. People have worn signs like these for hundreds of years to say something about who they are, what they've been through or what they hope for.

We choose designs that still carry that kind of meaning and make them easy to wear every day. Our pieces are enamel motifs on gold-tone stainless steel, priced so you don't need a special occasion to wear one, or to give one away.

Where the name comes from

In Greek myth, Astraea was the star-maiden, the last of the immortals to leave the earth before she became a constellation in the night sky. It felt like the right name for small things you keep close.
